Powells Chartered Surveyors, Land & Estate Agents are delighted to confirm a new appointment to their agency team for 2017, with Elizabeth Sawyer, joining the team last autumn to assist with developing the firm’s specialist rural estate agency sector.
Elizabeth joins Powells as an Agency Associate from a Herefordshire based Estate Agency, having grown up on a dairy farm in Gloucestershire. Elizabeth is a member of the National Association of Estate Agents and specialises in the sale of rural property, particularly country and village houses, landed, equestrian and smallholding properties.
David Powell, Managing Director, of Powells says that the firm has significantly grown its estate agency services in the last 2 years, particularly focusing on rural residential, farms, equestrian and smallholding properties, along with development property/sites.
David comments “we are very pleased to have secured Liz’s services, which are a great fit into our team, and Liz will be an important member of our team going forward with continuing to develop and serve our growing client base and range of estate agency services. 2017 is set to be an exciting year, especially with having instructions to market over £14million of property already during 2017”.
For any vendor’s considering selling in 2017, or even longer term, Elizabeth urges them to come and speak to her or colleagues early on, so Powells can provide free no-obligation professional advice on maximising the sale of any property, or development assets. Liz set outs that a detailed Marketing Appraisal is provided to potential vendors, with clear professional advice on all elements of marketing your property. Good advice from a credible agent with a strong niche brand is often essential for achieving a successful and maximised sale.
Liz also comments “we pride ourselves on a professional approach in selling property from our initial meeting with clients considering selling and the initial planning stages of marketing, through to ensuring a sale - despite the many complexities often involved - gets over the line to achieve a successful result”.
Applicants looking to purchase any rural, agricultural or equestrian properties this year are also encouraged by Elizabeth to register on the firms Applicant Database. Their criteria can then be accurately matched against properties being launched. Liz adds “by being niche specialist rural and development agents we operate a detailed and extensive Applicant Database so often can introduce a number of proceedable buyers to vendors immediately on marketing a property”. Alongside this we have a strong national web based presence and extensive local and regional marketing and promotion to reach all potential buyers”.
