Powells is an established chartered surveying practice specialising in the sale, acquisition, management and valuation of rural & development property and land. The practice provides a first class exemplary estate agency service with extensive professional services and property management sectors.
A dedicated in-house planning & development team also provides specialist planning & development services, with significant experience of undertaking planning applications, negotiation of promotion/option agreements for strategic land and development site promotion of landowners sites.
Powells are based in the attractive Welsh border town of Monmouth, strategically located on the A40, between the M4, M50 & M5 which allows excellent accessibility for serving clients across Wales and the Midlands, as well many nationally located clients.
The practice is headed by Managing Director David Powell who is a well-established name in the rural property sector. David formerly worked for a national firm of Rural Chartered Surveyors prior to establishing Powells in 2011.
David Powell was born and raised in Monmouthshire and is a former graduate of the University of Wales, Aberystwyth and Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester. David is a qualified Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuer’s (CAAV).
The Powells team includes fellow Director Sally Powell and Office Administrator Sally Richardson who support the principal professional team of Julie Jenkins (Property Management), Stuart Leaver (Planning & Development), Abbie Young (Sales Manager), Lucy Phillips (Sales Negotiator) and David Russell (Professional Services).
